May the 22nd: Baby shower went find today
And holy crap, Sarah had a visit from the Tit fairy! She's seven months or so along at this point so I didn't think she would be this huge there, doesn't help that she seems to have given up on bras. Speaking of bras, irony bit me in the butt today. Last night I had been watching DRRR and saying that I would have done pretty much all the stuff Anri had done in the episode, except with a bra on (there is actual debate in the fandom if she was wearing one or not, I think everyone noticed the gianaixing) so guess what happens this morning? Dad is freaking out on the phone over how he can't find his laptop and that I need to find Sam, the last one to use it, IMMEDIATELY, so I grab a jacket, flip flops, and run a few houses down to the yard sale and I'm still in my jammies soooo....
Suppose I should be glad that the universe still has a sense of humor though, anyway, back to the shower, it was low key, a bit crowded (apparently Sarah & co had also been expecting a bigger room) but it still went fine. Ended up being the person to snap all the photos on Sarah's camera phone, wasn't a bad little camera for being on a phone, made me wish for it more than once. She got lots of Winne the Pooh stuff, as requested, and I remembered that I might still have some of my old Winne the Pooh plushies and would be quite happy to send them along to a new home.
Ugh, tired, a leaf blower across the street work me up at about 8:30 this morning. Not horribly early but considering how badly I sleep at dad's house, ugh. Couldn't figure out what it was either until I grabbed my glasses to look, I swear the thing was lowing, didn't know anyone still lived in that house either..... signing off.
