August the 17th: A few things to cross off the list
Got my hair cut today (not the best cut but then again I haven't liked any of my hair cuts since my hairdresser moved away probably 2 years ago, and WTF why does my hair flip up when it's short?!?) and got my transcripts from UNCG sent off. I just hope this doesn't mess with my schedule too badly, I really don't know what kind of credit this would count for, probably American History and since I'm set to take Global Themes I don't think that will change. Think is the operative word here, I really don't know. Also hit up Adams on Tate Street, got a few more copics (I was coloring a Euphiemia from Code Geass and realized I had no pink markers except for skin tone so I really need one of those...) but still haven't gotten an ethernet cable or a power strip. Probably need to hit up Home Depot or Lowes later this week. Blech, I don't like HD, I spent way too much time there before the age of seven. Also saw the first episode of the new season of Top Gear tonight, wasn't as good as their usual ones but next weeks (which I won't see for goodness knows how long) looks good.
Finished up Darker than Black today (Netflix is amazing, the last DVD only came out Tuesday and I think it came in Friday) so I'm set for the next season in October. Also plowing through Eureka 7, I think I can catch up by Saturday and then just see the last three episodes as they come out. It's funny, the first season was okay, second was mostly filler and then the third season, which I'm on, holy crap batman they are just dropping tons of bombshells every week. Just OMG, it's starting to come together and I'm really getting into it now, pretty glad I'm able to marathon it instead of waiting weeks for the good stuff.
Well I need to get to bed soon, signing off! Oh and I should be able to make Libari Con now, found the bus website and it looks like I can get home late Friday night and then leave Sunday or Monday afternoon. Plus that will mark two weeks of college and that's the longest I've ever been away from home by far. Eaaauuurrrggghhhh, gotta pack tomorrow!
