Didn't post yesterday since I was watching some anime, also because my mom and brother got home an hour earlier than I thought so yeah... there would be no begging for more computer time. Not that much happened yesterday, crazy religion teacher was crazy (more weird stuff was said today, in the running commentary shader and I run in the back of the class it ended on the note "I will get my gun and run down the stairs yelling 'MOTHAF*CKERS GET THE HELL OUTTA MY HOUSE!!!'"), procrastinated on sewing, read more of The World is Flat (I'm almost done with it now) and was generally bored. Today was less boring, it was a club day which means tech work, sooo much hauling to be done. The veteran techies were freaking out, they had never seen all of the clutter so compressed back stage (er, side stage actually), I guess it helped that we stacked about three stairs on top of each other in each pile. I got some scrapes from all the carrying, Jose actually got a big splinter and one of my pins was sacrificed to the cause of getting it out. Also worked on sewing some buttons on today, I think I can finish more of them up later....
And of course, the day that I only had five minutes to mess around with the video camera and computer in art class, I got it all working on the first try. On Tuesday Donna and I spent a lot of time trying to get it all working and then it flipped out when I shot a test that was just Donna walking in front of the camera. It switched to monotone to black and white to sepia, it was strange. So we should be able to start shooting next week, Fine Arts Day might have been moved back to it's original week which would mean that we now have less than a month to shoot and edit an entire short film. We are scre~wed.
Signing off, it's Discovery Channel time!
