April the 6 and 7: *buried under anime*

Apr 07, 2009 19:26

Of course all of the subs came out Monday, which was also my Natsume Yujincho day so I'm getting behind fast in my anime. But, with my winter shows up, expect me to post a review soon (I'm thinking Friday, I think I can get the spring anime shoved out of the way for that). So yeah, if I'm missing for a few days, don't send search teams, I'll be back.
Now, the weather. Is strange. In really really freaky ways. Seriously, the hilllands of NC DO NOT get snow in April. Just no. Maaayybe the mountains might but c'mon, this ain't Cleveland where you actually can have a white Easter. So if the weather could get warm again and normal (as in, I won't be hearing weather forecasts like "sunny with scattered tornados," yes my art teacher heard that one, she was worried about her daughter running into a "scattered tornado"). I really want to put my two pairs of pants (+2 fitting pairs of jeans) away and haul otu my million pairs of shorts and capris.
Other news, we have a new toilet now after the plumber broke our old one while trying to replace the "ball and cock" part. No I did not make that up, truth is so much stranger than fiction. It's apparently kinda tall (my mom said her feet were just brushing the ground and I'm even shorter). And the box is not very truthful, it said this was a jacuzzi (can you imagine trying to flush those things?!?)/
Um, my brother got confused and got up at 4 am, not 6 am on Monday (seriously boy, how do you not see the clock in your room AND the three clocks in the kitchen?!?) and I spent an hour last night cutting out patterns. Seriously, I managed to use the fabric left over from cutting out the skirt (ie, the fabric around it) to cut out my shirt patterns and I think I can get a whole 'nother Kobato cosplay out of that. And the fabric was so long in the first place that it did not fit in my room, I'll try to post a picture later.
Well, signing off, sorry if I sound scatter brained, just tried and I'll be up late again tonight (WTH, Greek Easter bread takes waaay to long to break, you mean it has to rise TWICE?!?).
