Just a quickie
Moved to Lake in the Woods in Ypsilanti, MI. It is quite nice there. I have a lake right outside my house and a golf course I can use in my gated community. I feel like I've arrived. Except I don't boat or golf, and the low-flying planes passing overhead ruin my conception of a paradise. And when I leave I'm in the midst of a somewhat depressed suburban environment. I've enjoyed the company down here. I seem to have a girlfriend now, against my better judgement perhaps, but I like her a lot. I'm currently visiting my friend Jordan in Hastings, MI, and about to go out to breakfast. Conversation has done wonders for my sanity. Unfortunately, I've been smoking cigarettes again, which is already taking its toll on my energy levels. I'll quit again soon though, I hope, until then I'll just enjoy the company I have. Still unemployed here, although that will likely change soon, if I do enough follow up work and harrass the managers of the places I've applied at enough to actually look at my applications.
Anyway, I must go eat and be social. Internet connection will be restored after I get a job, so there will be more regular (and interesting, hopefully) updates in the future.
