it's been quite a long time since i've even touched this journal, or any journal for that matter so i figured now is as good a time as any to get back into the swing of things. it's been a strange few weeks, but nothing exceptional has really happened. it's been pretty boring and the nice weather has been a major tease. i keep thinking in a few weeks i'll be able to wear shorts and flipflops again. then i realize that it's february, and that what i want is a long way off. yeah. it blows. my internal clock is all thrown off. i want to wear shorts. i want to have cold nights so i can really enjoy my warm blankets. oh well. blah. it's pouring outside. and it's boring in here. i hope gates rec throws me a bone because being cooped up in here three days a week in the summer is going to make me wanna kill myself. oh yeah. dear geneseo, you need to accept me so i can loosen up and goof off a bit for the rest of my senior year. your friend, Kirk. anyways. there's nothing to do when the weather is like this. except be a hermit. i can't wait to be a hermit outside. spring needs to show up. that's pretty much all there is to it. so this is what needs to happen. we need to fast forward to march 1st so i can find out about college, fast forward to march 11th for boys night out and then zoom past the AP exams. yeah, clearly that's what needs to happen. dear geneseo, if you accept dan lobene and not me, i swear i'll torch the campus. your friend, kirk. anyways. yeah, so that's pretty much it. thanks lots to shelby for putting up with my moodiness.
