Planning my trip to New Orleans!
SO EXCITED!
Planning on parking the car and getting a NORTA pass. Seems easiest! Plus, way cheaper than trying to find parking. I feel like I braved the NYC subway system, so this should be a breeze, right? RIGHT?!?
(For real, though, how the heck were people tourists in the days before smartphones? I've been using mine to download all kinds of apps!)
I'm definitely planning to check out the parades on Thursday night, and want to hit up the cemetary on Friday. I also want to take my notebook to Cafe du Monde so I can say that I've written there- as well as the diner in New York. :D
(Also, I wrote over 500 words today, which is more than I've written in a LOOOONG time! Of course, it's for a prompt for a fest I had not planned to sign up for. :sigh:)
