(no subject)
I bought a new bed this weekend. I know it sounds dumb, but I'm really excited about it. This is the first real piece of 'grown up' furniture I've bought for myself and it felt very empowering to make that purchase. I know I was just supposed to be window shopping, but the deal was pretty good. I still have to buy the mattress and box spring, but that has to wait until I get my tax refund back.
My job hunt is still a hunt, and I'm trying not to be discouraged, but it is exhausting.
I need to finish my small fandom big bang. It's so close to being done, but I can't find the right words to transition into the next scene, and therefore the next scene isn't happening. AGH!! And I know it leads back to being stressed about looking for a job. Carly, I am working on words for you, too. Promise!
I'm going on Saturday with Kelly to watch the storm troopers march in the St. Patrick's Day parade. I DO NOT EVEN KNOW. Anywhoodle, I'm hoping the very handsome Boba Fett with the accent is there. Last time he asked me to button something on his costume. I'm a little too southern and a little to shy to respond with 'is there anything you need unbuttoned', but let's just say I would not object. Ahem.
FIREFLY. Kelly's doing a rewatch and I'm trying to get everybody else I know to watch it too. What are your favorite moments?
