Whoaa... We're Halfway Th-CHOOO!

There is nothing in the world like hearing a full stadium belt out Livin' on a Prayer on a clear summer evening.

Unless it's You give Love a Bad Name. Or Have a Nice Day. Or It's My Life.

Honestly, what fucking fine showmen they are. They looked like they were having an absolute blast, and none of them looked their damned age. Jon Bon Jovi is 44?? Bollocks. Too fit to be that... him and Richie Sambora. I swear, the slashfic potential between those two...

No, I'm not about to troll the 'net to see if such abonimations exist. I fear. Greatly.

It took THREE bloody hours for Bon Jovi to come on. In the interrim we had some local band who were all right apart from the fact that they were trying too hard - no one really jumps around with their guitars and stuff anymore; it's not so cool these days. And then about an hour and a half later Nickleback came on, which was very cool because I thought they'd only be opening for the much bigger venues, like London. They were really good, too. Even if you could sing Someday and How You Remind Me over each other and not notice the difference.

But, I may die happy now, because I have seen the biggest American band in the world perform live. In a fucking huge stadium.

(I say American band because to say biggest band in the world, I think that honour still goes to U2).

I have a new mission in life now: to own every damned Bon Jovi CD. And crank them very loud.

Scratch that. New mission in life: to herd out the flock of sheep that is in my nose and head. Bloody hayfever.

bands, bon jovi, hayfever
