Um, Duh

Because I have no sense of direction, I usually need Nick to help me find new places so that I can remember how to get to said places.

Some time ago he took me to Vauxhall to find a lovely little yarn shop where I eventually took my crochet class, and where I hope to be every other Wednesday night for the knitting/crocheting club. So I can scream for help when I get stuck.

Yesterday - or Friday, whichever; I get confused once midnight passes - he took me to another shop in Putney, where I met the friendliest woman who would be more than happy to see me every Saturday to help me with any project I'd like to try. I'm looking into joining their knitting class at some point, when one opens up.

And so this evening, driving back from Southampton, we realized that all this time, we drove past this shop in Putney. Every time.

After already realizing that we drove by Oval underground station every time, too, which is ten minutes away from the first shop in Vauxhall.

Tomorrow - or Sunday, you know what I mean - he'll be pointing me towards the last shop in London, which is in Islington, near the Angel underground station.

Which, funnily enough, is about two stops up the Northern line from where I work.

If I were pagan, and believed in all the random gods that are out there, I'd say Arachne has got it in for me.
