Today Seems Like a Good Day to Burn a Bridge or Two
I gave the two week notice today. The letter of resignation as been sitting in my computer at work for days now... like a loaded gun.
I didn't do it for the shock and ahh, but there was a little of that. I guess when someone gives a notice after spending four years working there ass off for the company, they notice a little bit. Don't get me wrong, not a lot, but at least a little.
The General Manager asked me to stay within the company, gave me the heart to heart. Truth is it doesn't mean much... these are the same people who kept piling it on. Maybe some type of perverse entertainment. Without a raise mind you. Of course they want me to stay, they know a sucker when they see one. Enough of that.
Went to the 311 show Wednesday. Man that was a good show, Hell of a lot of energy. And more then a few Heartbreakers were in attendance.
