faraway people (person)
Today I had lunch with friends. As I was pulling up to their house, I saw a white subaru in the driveway and I thought, "Yay - Al's here!" and then remembered that they had bought her car this week.
She moved overseas a little over a month ago. Funny... I know she's gone, but there are some things that I associate with her being here. I wonder how long this goes on before I stop expecting to see her as usual... Regardless, it was good to think of her and imagine her sitting in there at the table, drinking coffee, and laughing with J and K about how I'm always late.
