Today at work, I turned around and was stunned to speechlessness by the appearance of a giant beast standing in the doorway. It took me a moment to realize that I was not living in a LOST-ian world and that the creature standing before me was a dog and not a polar bear. My speechlessness gave way to stammering, stammering to exclamations, exclamations to semi-coherant questions.
The beast-dog belongs to my co-worker's dad. Bear -- a Great Pyrenees -- weighs in at svelte 190 pounds. I realize that I may be in the minority here -- having never heard of such a massive dog that looks like the cousin to a polar bear -- but my shock was so great that I had to share it.
