my first wedding
Remember that adorable kid I've posted pictures of before? Well ... back in March, his mom got in contact with me to ask if I'd be the photographer at her sister-in-law's wedding. Yikes, right? But what an opportunity! I told her that I'd never done a full wedding before, but would love the opportunity if she was willing to take the risk. (Bride and Groom both work for a nonprofit in another country and were trying to pull together their wedding as inexpensively as possible.) 
Everything fell into place and on December 7th - instead of being at home celebrating my brother's birthday like a good older sister - I was photographing my first wedding. It was a really fun experience over all - frustrating at times because of things I forgot to do or a funky lens or circumstances beyond my control (like the romantic lighting), but mostly a good time and a GREAT opportunity.
