Knocking some of these out for Ava...
Silver Phoenix-Opalescent orris shimmering through a blend of mallow, moonflower, wild pear, iris, starwort, juniper, and mugwort.
In bottle Lotsa fl'ers with a teeny bit o'pear.
Wet on left wrist Almost not like flowers at all. but I can't quite pin it.
Drying Very very light, in fact, it's incredibly faint after only three minutes. Settled into kind of a sweet spice on me. But that's almost to be expected now.
Verdict Like it, don't neeed it.
Bluebeard-A scent swirling with dark rage, unbridled jealousy, and murderous intent. Violet, lavender, white musk, and vetiver.
In bottle phew. strong and salty.
Wet on right wrist Spiiicy. A cold, slightly salty spice but nonetheless...
Drying Some lavender is peeking through, but it's still tough enough to mug on in an alleyway.
VerdictI approve of this but it's not for me, specifically
Queen Alice-Carnation, posies, and white amber with a hint of inky treacle, sandy cider, and wooly wine.
In bottle Sharp
Wet on left hand Kind of mead-y. Carnation mead.
Drying Apple is peeking through. Not directly a cider yet. actually kind of apple crumble...
Verdict Starting to want to eat my hand. This has potential for a future bottle.
Tempest-A crisp ozone-tinged breeze. The scent of the first gentle rain before the storm.
In bottle citrus ....and water.
Wet on right hand Same, with more of the 'water' coming out.
Drying Very clean smell. Less of the water now, instead air BY the water. Citruses apparently don't stick around on me. Later- has a little bit of that dryer sheet for the laundry tone to it, but it's still good in that right before or after the storm. Maybe a bit more post-storm now.
Verdict I love this for the feel of it, more than how it works on me. I love that it's put a place firmly into a smell. Might also go on a future list.
