Things in general seem to be pissing me off today. The next door neighbors, for instance. Don't get me wrong. They're actually good people, for the most part. We could have done far, far worse as far as neighbors are concerned, especially in this neighborhood. We could have gotten the gang bangers down the road or the drug dealers across the street, or that insane guy with the very loud motorcycle who likes to start fights. Instead, we get fairly nice neighbors who bring tamales over for Christmas, wave and say hello when they see us, and are generally congenial.
BUT-- they're noisy! Freakin' noisy. If they're not blaring their salsa music, they're running some sort of loud motorized contraption or another (often a buzz saw that has about the same reaction in my head as fingernails over a chalkboard, only worse), or their kids are running around screeching like miniature banshees, or THEY'RE running around screeching like banshees-- not out of anger, mind you, just to be LOUD. Because, they apparently think it's fun. It probably is. To them.
I'm a bona fide introvert. That means LOUD and I do not get along very well. LOUD annoys me. LOUD brings out the evil bitch.
Of course, I can be LOUD too. Oh yes, Emilie Autumn's LIAR manic-depressive mix LOUD... *wicked grin* That helps somewhat. (Music solves most problems)
My artwork is also pissing me off. Or, more specifically, my Wacom tablet. Ever notice how when you get really annoyed around electronic equipment, it tends to malfunction even MORE? Or maybe it's just me-- Amy the Human EMP. Or something.
If I can finish this damn drawing without destroying my drawing equipment, I'll post stuff later today.
