I'd sit here and wonder what the long curse weekends mean, but I'm sure they only mean chaos, and there's no deeper meaning than that. Although I always wonder if the memories posted on the Network are meant to tell people they need to open up more.

Hopefully not.

Rosella, how do you feel about starting this week? Caspian agreed to assist in

We didn't always have them, you know. I can still remember back when they first started coming, though I'm not sure exactly when it was.

And this week would be just fine, so long as we can work around the rehearsals for the play!

I'm sure things used to be terribly boring. Or at least unmarked with your name.

When are your rehearsals?

I didn't spend nearly so much time with wings, either.

Tuesdays and Saturdays, if I recall correctly. And it's easy for me to move around the times when I work at the Library, so that's no trouble at all. And other than that, I think I ought to be free anytime.

Like a bird or like an angel?

That's not a problem at all.

I've had both before, but it's usually a bird. And a brightly-colored one at that! I think it's some sort of parrot, but we've never been quite certain why I'd be a parrot in particular.

Oh, good, I'm glad!

Maybe it's how you talk.

I would've said it's because they're so colorful, myself. But having a pretty voice works just as well, thank you.

Or a persistent one.

And there's nothing wrong with being persistent.

I never claimed there was.

That's very true, you didn't. But I'm glad we agree, even so.

So what do you know about swords, anyway? Before I come in and teach you something you already know.

Well...not much, honestly. I've watched tournaments and things, and seen our knights practicing with them before, but I really only learned how to shoot, not how to fight.

You mean you can shoot a target but not a person?

Reply

primrosella September 14 2010, 00:05:13 UTC
I...could shoot a person if I had to. But there are some things a bow just isn't practical for.

Well...yes, you're right. Although Susan's done pretty well with her bow.
