It's always so strange to come home and have to be a Muggle again. It's so much calmer here. No gingerbread men running around. Not that I really mind, since Christmas is a lot of fun, even if my family doesn't celebrate it too much! And it's kind of nice to just relax and not think about magic for awhile, though... it's also strange to think of everything that's going on that no one knows about. Both good things and terrible things.
It seems unfair that no one knows, especially about things that might hurt them someday.
But on the bright side, whenever I come home I get to practice kendo with other people again. It's a little lonely doing it all by myself at school, you know? I hope everyone's having a good time already and enjoying their holidays. Don't get sick!
