Here you go, my very first FST~
This FST focuses on Western Europe (Germany, England, France, Italy, Spain and Portugal) with a guest presence of Prussia. I believe that most of you are already more than aware of how much I enjoy listening to music and it so happened that I ended up with a fair amount of songs I associated with this or that particular country/character. As in them singing it. So I decided to shove the best/most IC ones into a single FST (which was quite the hard choice...).
All songs (except for the bonus track) are in the native language and I've included the translation in this pack.
I hope you enjoy it ^^

Track 1: Prussia
Tim Toupet - Humba Täterä
Give me an H
Give me an U
Give me an M
Give me an B
Give me an A
We sing "Humba Humba Humba Täterä Täterä Täterä"
We sing "Humba Humba Humba Täterä," and then everyone sings it all over again
"Who better than him to start the party?" were my thoughts when picking this song. It's a completely silly song, I know, but it's so hyper and funny that I can't help but to think of Prussia whenever I listen to it. Ah, "Humba Humba Täterä" doesn't have a special meaning. It's like saying "pewpew".
Track 2: Italy
Baustelle - Gli Spietati
Never wanting the truth
Gaining the afterlife
Sailing without wind
Getting better with the years
Ok, I have to thank
bubbole for this one. Italian music is so beautiful and Milla-chan is my ever so kawaii provider.<3 I wanted to include the Italian brothers in this FST too, so after she sent me this song, she thought it'd fit them. Going through the lyrics makes me feel that way too. ^^
Track 3: Spain
Fran Perea - Uno Más Uno Son Siete
My tales didn't mention stories about chances
No one told me that destiny would give me this opportunity
One plus one are seven, who'd ever tell me that
That it was so easy to be happy
.....
Today I smile, remembering
That you wanted to fly
From the banks in Madrid
You can't see the sea
I think this one's pretty obvious why I picked it for Spain. The careless/relaxed vibes of him and the joyful tune of the song... It's almost too easy imagining him singing this about his little ones. :D
Track 4: England
Queen - We Will Rock You
Buddy you're a young man hard man
Shoutin' in the street gonna take on the world some day
You got blood on yo' face
You big disgrace
Wavin' your banner all over the place
We will we will rock you
Pretty self-explanatory too, isn't it? No, England is no wimp and I'll always stick to that.
Track 5: France
Renan Luce - La Lettre
I've received a letter,
about one month ago
It arrived by mistake,
an error of the mailman
Smell of a perfume,
carmine lipstick
I might have had better
not open that letter
But I'm the kind of guy
who quite enjoys this sort of stake
and it doesn't matter to me
if she calls me Alphonse or Fred.
It's for her to pick...
it's for her to pick
The tune of this song is so very traditionally French it's adorable. And then there are the flirty lyrics. <3
(thanks for the extra help
maikichelorrain !)
Track 6: Germany
Micky Krause - Oh Wie Ist Das Schön
Such a day, as beautiful as today!
Such a day, should never end!
Such a day, I was looking forward so badly.
Such a day, should never end!
Oh, it's so beautiful!
It's at times like these when it'd be best for me not to know German. I wouldn't pick these dorky songs so easily.
As for why I picked it... it's hard to explain because it's the most subjective choice of them all. Germany likes to have fun, however they also have that traditional vibe in them (see: Bayern). And when something pleases/displeases a German they generally tend to stress it out a lot. That's why having a song that is constantly switching between hyper and the "traditional" tune while carrying on stressing the same topic does fit "Germany" for me. :D
Track 7: Portugal
Xutos & Pontapés - A minha Casinha
How I missed
My happy little house
As modest as I
Oh, God, how great it is to live
In a modest first floor
Counting from the sky
The song is just this. Nothing more, nothing less.
It's amazing how it pretty much sums up Portugal's thoughpattern in only 6 verses. Going back home, his modest home and yet great because it's touching the sky, that's how Portugal feels about himself.
~From here on the shipping starts~
Track 8: Spain->Portugal
Bustamante - Nunca Es Tarde
It's never too late for us to love each other
Give me another chance
It isn't too late to give each other
All of our heart
It's never too late nor too soon
What belongs to you will eventually come
And it's cowardice not to try it
Because time goes on and on until we run out of it
This song has Spain's persistency, plus the "What belongs to you will eventually come" line caught my eye. So very Spain... "yes, let's turn into Iberia and then somewhen... in the next millenia... you'll be allowed to say this and that is yours." or something like "you'll be able to own half of the world again"
Spain also keeps saying it's /destiny/ and Portugal runs off with the /other/
Track 9: Portugal->Spain
Toranja - Fogo e Noite
And the sweat
that drained through the air
in the heat of your lips
innocent but wise...
within the secrecy of the moonlight.
It won't end
We will always have passion
We will always have a look
Where there is no one else
I gave you more...! Flying was worth it...
It was written down
And the night came to awaken
the war of the senses fought in a sky
This is Portugal's reaction to Spain's song. yes, some sort of a mini story started in track 7
Portugal's feelings towards Spain are... Spain's a little pain, but he does have a crush on him. It is to my belief that they do it every now and then, too. The way Portugal feels about his relationship with Spain is something along the lines of this song. Something he shouldn't be doing and he hates himself for having those special feelings towards his brother lingering around.
Track 10: England->Portugal
Oasis - Stand By Me
Made a meal and threw it up on Sunday I`ve -
Got a lot of things to learn
Said I would and I believe in one day -
Before my heart starts to burn
So what's the matter with you?
Sing me something new... don't you know
The cold and wind and rain don't know
They only seem to come and go away
After that England comes and saves the day.
Hm, England having troubles with cooking and then saying things like "Sing me something new" to Portugal who's already known to be a singer by nature... and then going "stand by me, stand by me...", aka le BFF. I don't know, but this song is terribly OTP for me. :)
Track 11: Portugal->England
João Pedro Pais - Ninguém é de Ninguém
Tell me stories from times
I'd like to go back to
I long for those moments
That I'll never find again
Life may only be 3 days
I want to always walk slowly
Until I get to you
No one belongs to anyone
Even when you love someone
This is Portugal's answer.
"Times I'd like to go back to" would be the Age of Discoveries (what? Is it so obvious?). It's saudade all over again.
The other reason why I picked this song is because of the refrain. Even though these two have already spent so much time together married or not, it's for you to decide Portugal always kept his identity as a country. England is quite an individualist too, so that's why I thought the "No one belongs to anyone" fitted these two so well.
~Bonus Track~
Track 12: Portugal & Spain
Hanson - MMMBop
You have so many relationships in this life
Only one or two will last
You're going through all this pain and strife
Then you turn your back and they're gone so fast
And they're gone so fast
It's a "Bonus Track" because this is the only track in English for Iberia. It isn't an Iberiacest track, either. I imagine both brothers grabbing the microphones and singing this song together to describe their lifes in some way. Just imagine flowers = their former colonies and I think you'll get my point.
The moral of the story is that they have to rely on each other forever, though.
