Devistated by the news

she's in the hospital...
I took a step back i couldn't breathe
from the lack of air i couldn't speak, i couldn't believe

That she tried to commit s****** and wrote a note
of all of her goodbye's addressed to whom it may concern

I miss your voices every night
i wish you'd call
Everyday i sit and ponder
down this path that i wander
I'm in the hospital...
Sitting here by the patient's phone
hoping for word that i can go home
another day
