It's all a blur.
Well, I'm home! And I'm an internetter once again with the return of high speed. That was a scary week without.
Got home last Monday. That was also my birthday. So among all of the unpacking, etc., I partied with Dixie and Katie. Everyone else was either at school, working, or just plain sucked. Tuesday I celebrated with Christina. Wednesday I celebrated with Christina, Katie, Dixie (again), Kari, and Jay at Jay's house with Chinese food, kiddie bowling, and Monopoly Jr. Afterwards Christina, Dixie, Katie, and I tried to find Kevin Bacon's house... AGAIN. We didn't find it but we drove in a circle around Blooming Grove, went through a blow-up Santa (and by Santa, I mean snow man) graveyard, and ran from... THE POOPY HOOK MAN! Beware him and his poopy hook. Funniest. Thing. Ever. That, and the now-classic quote.. "When I was little I thought the Little Mermaid would save me when I was drowning.. but then a Cuban man did."
Thursday was the Radio City Christmas Spectacular. Mmm yessir. T'was fun. Kari got us lost in the WORLD TRADE CENTER... and then Jay got us lost in Rockefeller Center... and then Kari got us lost at SOUTH FERRY. Nice. The show was really good.. almost as good as the meal we had before the show. We ate at the Rockefeller Cafe because we have connections and therefore we get the VIP treatment (which basically means they needed a group of four and we were the first). We also saw the tree and the rink and yay, stuff. Good times.
Friday I... don't think I did anything. I think I slept. All day.
Saturday was last-minute shopping and hanging out with Dixieface. We got dinner and played pool in New Paltz --- a lot of fun! I heart that pool hall, especially the sign on our table that says, "Don't use me - I eat balls".
Sunday we went to the Poconos and I just got back a few hours ago. Good times. Lots of presents. Lots of laughs. Lots of food... lotttsss of food.
So I can't remember what I got for Christmas and what I got for my birthday so I'm meshing it all together:
