Along the way, Damon and Elena battle desperately, not only against archrival Klaus, but also against their own personal failings, their respective relationships with Stefan and, perhaps most importantly, their tumultuous feelings for each other.
With the help of some unlikely allies in the shape of Bonnie and Katherine, can Damon and Elena get to Stefan before it's too late, or will his deal with Klaus have pushed him beyond the point of no return??
