So, ontd_tvd is holding a Damon Salvatore appreciation post. Which has been interpreted as a psuedonym for LET'S ALL BAND TOGETHER AND SPOUT HATE AT THE CHARACTER AND THE FANS THAT LIKE HIM!! It's actually quite disturbing already and it's been up for all of about 30 seconds.
