Yeah, the bullet thing was always gonna be played out as being about Bailey. We called it! Haha! Oh well, we did get that nice scene at the end between the two of them, and we got the Bailey poking him in the chest scenes, so we might just have to cut our losses on that one :(

I also wonder about whether we (the loyal viewers) are the only ones reading between the lines. Because, you're right. If everything is intended to be taken at a surface level only, then we are screwed! (Remember, there is always FIC!).

Yes. Issues. With a capital I. And LOTS of them! Hopefully some are addressed next week (Alex + The Chief).

We also get the episode that Alex voice overs... I think it's episode 6. Keep that in sight!!! And there will be fic to keep you going, I PROMISE!!

Yes, someone to read between the lines and create storylines would be an awesome addition to the writing team! I nominate myself! I'll take the trailer next to JC's thanks!!!

Yay for ear piercing! What kind of earring did you get?

Bailey would HATE that you have a foreign object in you! No surgeries for you! Hahaha!

What if I promise to keep writing fic?!

If I was operating on someone I'd be all... "let's just see what happens if we do this..." which is equally disasterous! There is a reason I only 'fix' people's brains from the outside for a living and not from the inside!

*poke prod poke prod SLICE!*

You know, when Bailey first paged Alex to that OR and ordered him to go lie on the table, I foolishly wondered if maybe we might get a reference to the fact that he underwent a surgical procedure without anaesthesia not so long ago, and that might be another reason for his reluctance to agree to surgery now (the emergency surgery carried out while he was already unconscious wouldn't count, and hey - they did already kinda go there with that woman who woke up during surgery). But no, of course not - should have known better! At least the surgery scene itself was good, although not long enough.

YES! I'd thought about this before hand, but actually forgot about it at the time of the actual scene. Thanks for reminding me. MAN! That would have been AWESOME! Even if it was just Alex making a false bravado comment about not needing the local anaesthetic... maybe Bailey doesn't even know the intricasies of that situation... that he was conscious and screaming. Can't imagine it's something he's promoted. Also can't imagine it's something Lexie and Mark would talk to people who weren't there about... I dunno...

I can't remember now - was Bailey involved in George's surgery in any way, when he was brought in after the accident? If so, that's all five of her interns that she has personally operated on now - must be a record for the hospital!

Hey, I'm just coming off an epic 6 season marathon, and still couldn't remember, so I think your memory gets to keep the credit!

Meh, there goes that theory...but she did the initial work-up on Cristina, and was part of the surgical team in the OR, so it kinda counts... She has been involved in surgeries for all of them!

She has also ordered Alex to take his shirt off twice in as many seasons. Heee!

ARGH! SHE SO HAS!!! That has now become my (second) most favourite part of this episode! Thank you so much for putting that connection together!

Oh, Bailey. It happens to the best of us...
