I'd assume you're having a go, but assumptions with no context always end badly so I'm going to wait on that and answer it simply.

I keep watching for Alex. Because I think he's a complex and intriguing character that is brilliantly acted by JC and I live in hope that the writers will, one day, realise this...

I keep watching for Meredith. Because I love her friendship with Alex and the intricated connections that they share and the way they 'get' each other instantly, can call each other on their shit without hesistation, and are angstily, beautifully gorgeous together.

I keep watching for SO's acting (even if I'm not a fan of where they've taken her character). She is incredible.

I keep watching for Bailey. Because, every now and then, the one I know and love shines through and it's just like the old days...

I keep watching for Izzie. Because I hold on to this INSANELY RIDICULOUS notion that she's going to come back and live happily ever after with Alex! And no one can convince me other wise...

I keep watching for Jackson. Because he is hot and I am shallow.

I keep watching for Mark and Callie scenes. Because they are awesome when they're together.

I keep watching for the 'POtW' storylines. I quite enjoy them most of the time. They're typically unusual and interesting.

Shall I keep going?

ETA: I wholeheartedly believe it is possible to vehemently dislike characters and storyline within a show and still absolutely love the show itself...

You're correct regarding assumptions. I'm not having a go, I actually am generally curious because it seems you always have something negative to say, and not just an odd comment here and there, but about everything, and everyone. And you know, I don't even know how to respond to this entry. It's one thing to have a different opinion but quite another to go on a constant witch hunt.

I didn't put these thoughts up with a message saying you must all agree with me!

I put thoughts up after the last episode that ended with almost 100 comments and we all had a great time, meeting new people and sharing our opinions...so, I thought I'd do it again...

And how is what I'm doing a 'witch hunt'? I don't think I get what you mean by that.

The intention of this post (and my one last week) was to stimulate discussion and provide a forum (and therefore wank) free environment in which to do it. There is no 'picking on people' or telling people their opinions are wrong/flawed...

It's simply a discussion post. People are free to agree or disagree how they see fit...

So, I haven't even watch the episode yet, and I ended up reading about it already, I don't really care :P I'll comment when I watch it.

About the ridiculous wish hunt comment, I have to say... we're not in a community right now, were in YOUR LJ, and you can say whatever you want about anything and everyone in here. Still even if you WERE giving these comments in a community, it is just an opinion (a pretty civil one at that) and you're entitled to give one! jeez.

But I'm not here about that, really. I'm here to say that your list of reasons to watch GA is my list of reasons to watch GA, which I just realize just now. I honestly thought I watched the show only for Alex, but it's more than that and I'm happy :) I've had too many friends asking me why the hell do I watch this show if I don't seem to like it? NOW I know! I have more than one thing to say about it! (not that I think Alex is not enough, but I shouldn't be that big a masochist, right? :P)
