*Huggles you* Lovely post is lovely.

And it has been lovely knowing you too. I really hope it isn't goodbye.

I've been rewatching Grey's again. That show it really sticks in your bones. Rewatched the shooting ep yesterday, all the feels.

I went back the TVD to watch the final season and I enjoyed it, it was good. The plot of the final episode made absolutely no sense but I still feel like it was exactly what it had to be emotionally.

It's a happy kind of sadness to see everything having come and go, but change is an unalterable constant.

I hope it's not goodbye, too, but I haven't posted since January (though I've still been reading and dropping the odd comment here and there) so I really just don't know.

That show it really sticks in your bones. OMG, doesn't it??! I'm just past the half way mark of season 6, so the shooting episode is in my future. I've not really watched past the end of season 6 before, at least, not consistently and in order, and I'm of half a mind to keep going, but it'll mean buying the DVDs because it's not available on any streaming service here, and I don't know how committed I am given how much I know my investment drops off post the ridiculous (yes, I still stand by that claim!) time jump between seasons 6 and 7.

I contemplated the TVD finale, but again, it's not available on any streaming service here and it's all just a bit too much like hard work to source these things, when there's so much other content right at my fingertips!

That's fair enough. I think LJ really is dying now, especially after the recent changes a lot of people are just moving over to dreamwidth. I think we LJ users as people have changed a lot too though, we're older now. And I think newer people joining are on different platforms.

I know what you mean, it's so annoying when content isn't easily accessible. Season 7 is actually one of my favourites, but that's probably the Cristina fan in me speaking and season 8 does have some really good moments. For me it's when they get to season 9 that the show really seems to go off the rails. The newer characters aren't as well developed and seem to just exist to take up space.

I've watched the first two episodes of season eight, I think. Are they the ones where everyone is fighting (LOL, pretty much all the 'ones' are where there is fighting!) and Cristina stabs Alex with a needle of adrenalin, mid-surgery, and stops his heart? I've watched those episodes.

I cannot for the life of me remember what happened in those first couple episodes, but yeah I think that was it. I prefer the middle of the season.
