I totally agree that they were terrible, terrible (cheap) episodes. But, to be honest, given my lack of investment these days, they actually worked kinda perfectly to really GET to me. The flashbacks played 1000% into my desire for the Old Days, and the miles and miles of gaps and time jumps just opened up allllll the ficcing opportunities. I'm seriously feeling kinda overwhelmed at the options! IN A GOOD WAY! Like I haven't been overwhelmed since the season six finale!

I was super pissed about the time jump This was me at the start of season seven. In fact, I was so pissed about the time jump that I quit the show and never really, fully came back. I don't have the energy to rage about it these days, I have used up my Grey's rage SEASONS ago. To be honest, I'm kinda in awe of the fact that you've still got some left. I wonder if it's because you didn't devote your heart to Alex/Izzie! Haha!

Oh, I love this, especially the little details-- Charles being ever irrelevant; Lexie resenting the coyotes THAT TUSSLED OVER HER CORPSE; Mark still wandering around in towels no matter how often that ends in disaster. XD Perfect ending, especially when coupled with the "Your husband's here" red-herring in the finale. You made me cry. :')

I am so glad you liked it!! As I mentioned above, I was initially a bit worried about offending people with crack this soon after it all went down, this I figure this is crack!lite, more angst than crack, so it was probably safe :)

Perfect ending, especially when coupled with the "Your husband's here" red-herring in the finale. I KNOW! I was super pleased with that because I wrote this before I watched the episodes, and the only thing I knew was that Derek's car got hit by a truck at that point! Shows how in tune I am with Alex+Mer :) MY BABIES!!

I am not in the Grey's fandom at ALL except for following a couple GIFfers on tumblr, but I am pretty inspired to write some April fic in an effort to defend her from the wank anons are slinging at even them. Like wow. :////

There pretty much IS no Grey's fandom these days, at least, not here on LJ (I don't do the tumblr thing, so I can't comment on that), but 4/5ths of my flist are 'leftovers' from when the fandom was buzzing and awesome and ALIVE so every now and then we all get whipped up into a fic writing frenzy! Haha! That's kinda what has happened now. Only on a much smaller scale than it used to.

I am so not surprised by what's happening on tumblr. SO SO glad I'm not a part of that.
