I've developed feelings for people I've met online in the past but not acted on it. Without getting into it, the second time definitely it was for the best. The first, we did meet in person and become friends. Really long story.

Yeah, I've done the 'developed feelings but not acted on it thing' though they were not for people I met via a dedicated dating site. Did you ever go that route?

No, I've never done that. It's a really random story, but the guy I met in person somehow appeared on my MSN contacts list about 12 years ago, neither of us knew how or why but we got chatting anyway - turned out that he was the brother of one of my ex's friends and was going to my university, so that is how we ended up meeting in person.
