Okay, so, I'm usually the first to rain on the parade that is Australian television. Particularly Australian dramas. Typically they're cliched rip-offs and it's hard to figure out in which ways the chronically over-used Aussie actor is trying to differentiate this character from the character they played in the last Aussie drama they 'starred' in.

Or maybe not. ONE MOMENT, PLEASE while I spend a minute thinking about what I watched in an attempt to make this not just ALL BREAKING BAD ALL THE TIME!

ONE | Ozymandias | Breaking Bad
This is, perhaps, my most favourite episode of television OF ALL TIME, let alone just of 2013!



There are just so many aspects to this epsiode that are FREE OF FLAWS it would take me all day to list them. Seriously. BEST. AMEN.

TWO | Felina | Breaking Bad
The series finale that did EVERYTHING AND MORE.



Just thinking about the way this show curled to an end gives me CHILLS!!!!!! Perfection.

THREE | Chapter 11 | House of Cards

This show really surprised me with how much I LOVED it and how far it was willing to go.



I particularly love the fucked up relationship between Frank and Claire. And I love actress Kate Mara in general!!

FOUR | Six Minutes | The Killing

I don't want to spoil this episode for anyone who hasn't watched, but...



to be honest, I was kinda surprised they 'went there' with regard to what ended up happening. And it's a pretty big spoiler, so I don't detail what that 'went there' entailed but, yeah. WOW. Also, every single second of the interaction between Sarah and Ray was FLAW FREE.

FIVE | Why Jordan Can't Read | My So-Called Life

I can't believe it took me so long to watch this series!!! WHAT WAS I THINKING?!!!



leobrat posted a youtube link to the whole series and I watched it in, like, two and a half days, and I don't think I was the same afterwards!!! LOVE LOVE LOVE.

BONUS | Natural Selection | Orphan Black

This was the pilot epsiode, and while I also enjoyed all the other episodes, it was this one that SUCKED ME RIGHT IN!



Also, BETH!!! This was the episode that gave us the most Beth. And she's probably the character that intrigues me the most at this point.

Gah this reminds me that I REALLY need to finish Orphan Black! I watched the first two episodes and then got distracted when my sister wanted to watch Breaking Bad!

But yes, Ozymandias is PERFECT and so is Felina.

Oh, yes! You really do need to finish Orphan Black!! Though I think you still have a fair while before season two starts (unfortunately!!). However, your decision to fore-go OB in favour of Breaking Bad is one I simply CAN NOT fault!!
