I love this bit a HUGE amount: Music, party music, seeps through the warped fence palings. Minute gaps that fill with laughter and life and a thousand other things she can barely bring herself to recognise. She wants them out of her yard. The noises. The cheer.

It's because it's exactly what they WOULD do. I refuse to believe Izzie didn't come back during that time. REFUSE POINT BLANK. In my canon it's one of the 15 gazillion other things that happened during that STUPID TIME JUMP!
