It’s embarrassing how addicted he’s become to the taste and feel of this man. Trembling fingers trace over his favorite freckle, right in the hollow of the smooth, tan expanse of skin stretched over Iruka’s neck. When he leans down to lathe the spot with his tongue, Iruka moans, the sound rumbling through his throat to vibrate against Kakashi’s mouth.
“You’re fucking ridiculous,” Iruka says, breathless. His back arches, bowed up beautifully for Kakashi to snake a hand beneath.
Kakashi grins, because he knows Iruka loves this as much as he does; he craves it every bit as much Kakashi does. Kakashi trails his tongue up the path of his neck to his ear where he sucks the lobe before whispering, “Then tell me to stop.”
Iruka makes a noise in the back of his throat, like he can’t speak he’s so turned on and the sound makes Kakashi ache. But he won’t give into his urges just yet - he’s waited far too long for this. He’d dreamed of Iruka before he’d ever laid eyes on him; he’d traced the lines and planes of him though he had no clue what he was doing.
Now he knows, because he’s climbing onto Iruka, tucking himself into the crevices that he just fits into like they were carved out just for him. And when Iruka’s breath hitches in that way, Kakashi can’t care that he’s absolutely taken with this person, that his world has tilted on its axis to revolve around something bigger than himself, because nothing else matters except the man in his arms.
Later, when Iruka has had his fill and Kakashi thinks he’ll never get enough, he’ll tap Iruka’s nose, snorting a laugh when the other man wrinkles it.
“Idiot,” Iruka will say fondly, and Kakashi will agree because he is and he can’t be bothered to care that he is.
He might be an idiot, he’ll reason, but he’s also the luckiest man alive so long as he’s Iruka’s idiot.
