Not an overly familiar face and I'm not great at photorealism, but if you have hung out in my LJ a little bit you might know.
Answer: Reference. Pencil on Bristol, 30 minutes. Some playing with contrasts in PS5, which probably took longer than the actual drawing time because PS is a fun time sinkhole.
