WIP Sam Larsen
Drawn based on a-fallen-sister's advice. Pen on watercolor paper (I haven't done pen in YEARS and I'm all WAIT I WANT TO BLEND blend! and pen is all "no you lazy bitch you got to crosshatch, crosshatch!"). I plan to paint it but there is an 80% chance it will fail so I decided to scan it now and perhaps render it digitally when I get my backordered tablet (had to return the borrowed) if I goof it up.
Loosely based on this reference. I say loosely because I can not do exact replicas unless I use a grid, and I don't find that fun, so here you are bastardized picture of beautiful beautiful Sam Larsen (please don't tell me he is a jerk in real life lalalalala I'm not listening or looking...).
You can see in the reference that those back shadows and stuff will look neat watercolored but I'm already chickening out.
