Hi friends!
So what have I been up to? I just got back from hanging out with Anke at Forest (me, her, a bunch of other people get together each week to watch America's Next Top Model-- she Tivos it so that's why we watch it thurs.). Anybody else been watching that? Anyway, it was a fun time... and that's about all I've got to say about that.
This week has been so busy! Mid-term week has killed me. I had 4 tests, 1 paper, and 2 clinical observations to do (they can take up to an hour and a half). I had my first observation yesterday-- it was a hearing aid fitting. The client was the really old lady cashier at Target. You know the one. She always runs the express lane yet she's painfully slow. Well now she has hearing aids.
Hmmm...what else... my new "Disease and the Human Body" instructor is crazy. If you could somehow mix Robin Williams' character from One Hour Photo with the guy on TV who sells finance help programs while wearing that wacky question mark suit--that's my new instructor. He's just a little weird and awkward...like maybe he has dead bodies stashed in his closet. Strange.
I went home last weekend so I could go to the Covered Bridge festival with my mom, Aunt Marliza, and cousin Sam. It's a tradition! We had a good time. I ate lots of delicious festival food. That's really why we go. Sorry, I won't be home this weekend. Y'all have a good time at Pumpkinworks though!
