(no subject)
AH the other great thing is that I've just gotten word that the house sitting gig I'm doing in Rosendale starting next week COMES WITH A CSA SHARE.
This is actually a thing that I told people I was going to do but at the same time felt so vague that it might not happen, except it actually is going to happen. And I think it might be a really good mental health vacation from:
- Westchester
- death
- people
- my parents' kitchen
Maybe Rosendale will be the place of my re-birth from the void. Either that or it will only make the void bigger. WE'LL SEE I GUESS. Haha. Well I mean, if I have access to all that produce for three weeks, how voidy can a void really be? Probably not that voidy. Plus, there will be cats. Cats and farm produce. And woods. I can handle these things, these are things I can handle. Oh and books. Can't forget about books. Although I've decided to take a brief break from fiction because I keep reading all these fiction books and leaving behind the theory books that I've already started. I don't know that I'm actually going to read the whole Marcuse book on aesthetics though. Even though it's pretty short, and even though it's really interesting, I keep falling alseep every time I read it. Something about his language, despite the fact that it's kind of straight forward, makes me want to take a really good nap. In the White Plains Public Library. Haha. You know, up on the top floor.
