Something that is hard to do but surprisingly not as disastrous as you might imagine: Learning how to use an espresso machine while drinking gin and tonics at the same time. And while for the most part it's something I would probably/definitely not advise, at least now I can list as a job skill "can make chai lattes while sloshed." (And get tipped!).
In other news, Passover was nice and sort of a shock to my digestive system. I'm back in New Paltz now but last night my parents and I watched a great PBS documentary about Philip Glass. And it was actually kind of inspiring, especially when Philip Glass talked about just how much music was about listening for him. It was also neat getting to see Chuck Close and Philip Glass interviewed together about their work, and their friendship. And learning the story of Philip Glass' life was a lot of hearing the story of someone constantly willing to be a student. Of someone aware that learning opportunities are always! And I thought that was inspiring too.
