Nintendo

OK, I used to really really love Nintendo. Back in the 80's their original NES was amazing, they had a great library of great games. Then came SNES and it too was great, even more good games, sequels that did justice to or surpassed the originals, blazing fast beautiful 16 bit games that looked soo realistic!

Then came the day when Nintendo started to falter for me, they released the N64. This console would have been amazing and groundbreaking if it weren't for the fact that it was trying to compete with the original Playstation, no matter what you do your cartridge games are not going to look as good or have as much amazing shit as a cd based game. This is not to say that the N64 was all bad, it did give us the first modern day analog control stick as well as the first 3D platformer.

Next Nintendo decided that they had made a mistake in not going with a disk based system and they release the Game Cube. This system was a bitbehind its other competitors when it came to graphical abilities, but did have alot of good "party" games and some good "E" rated games, but almost nothing that was in keeping with the much older average age of gamers now adays. The only major downfall of this system though was the idea to go with mini disks instead of DVDs (and the ability to double as a DVD player).

Finally Nintendo announced its new console codenamed "Revolution". Again it was not going to be as powerful as the other consoles out there, but it was supposed to be backwards compatible with all prior Nintendo games. Sounds like a good idea. However, here comes the part where Nintendo goes bat-shit crazy insane. Not only have they come up with a strange controller that is going to require add ons to play any normal new multi console games, it will also have all kinds of motion sensor stuff to it (like the power glove) and the final capper on the instnity is this, THEY RENAMED THE REVOLUTION SO ITS NOW CALLED "Wii" (we)..... So who wants to come over and play with my Wii with me?

Oh yeah heres the link http://revolution.nintendo.com/
