Some times at work we don't end up taking the time to get some lunch, sometimes we go late in the way, some times we go hella early. Today I learned why we should never ever ever ever again go with the first 2 scenarios. It started off as a normal day with one exception Tubbs had left a cardboard container of delicious chicken noodle soup on his desk from lunch yesterday. I pointed this fact out to him and he placed it in a trashcan. Fast forward to about 3:30 pm and we have not eaten yet, Tubbs takes it upon himself to go look in the fridge we share with the warehouse next door to see if anyone left any food. NADA. So Teege starts talking about going to Best Buy for the new Sin City collectors edition and tells me we can stop for food, apparently Tubbs has zoned our talk out once again because he decides that it is now time to go dumpster (trashcan) diving. The next thing Teege and I know he is pulling out the soup, now as you can probably guess Teege and I not being driven crazy by the kind of hunger pangs think this is a horrible idea. Tubbs slowly opens the container and we proceed to tell him not to eat the soup over and over again. However, all of our advice is apparently in vain as Tubbs proceeds to head into the kitchen to heat up his Kastanzaesque snack. It is at this point as Teege and I are donning our coats to head out that Tubbs realizes we are going to get food, so of course instead of throwing away the soup like any sane man he proceeds to chug the broth in order to head out with us. All the way too and from the store we had a heated discussion over weather its ok to eat(drink) something that has sat out overnight. Teege and I still maintain that you shouldn't, and we obviously know Tubbs vote.. . .
