Sarah was over for the weekly viewing of For Love or Money. It was a roller coaster ride as always. Rob doesn't want someone to love, he wants someone he can't live without. Awww... pfft. We can't wait till next week!!
Gave my big bro a call tonight make sure he was doing alright... he and his long-term girlfriend broke up this weekend. Only time heals a broken heart. Take time to breath and smile, Phil. Love ya.
So, the U of M affirmative action decision came down today. I've never really given affirmative action much thought because it's always been one of those never ending debates with no right or wrong answers. Don't get me wrong I do have opinions. Typically, I just rather not state them. But, this case has really got me thinking and I think the Supreme Court took what I consider the "safe route." Regardless, I'm working on the story for it and I'm just hoping to do a good job. Tomorrow should prove to be a very busy and educational day.
For now I have to finish up my laundry, do a little research for that story and get a good night's sleep.
I'm hoping to get a jump start on tomorrow's work so I could have the opportunity to get lunch with Adam. Sometimes my work seems so demanding and its hard to keep life balanced when you throw friends and a boyfriend into the mix. And, in light of my brother's break up, I just feel like spending time with the people I love and have the most fun with. I guess I just need to take my own advice and... breathe...
