Hmmm...
I feel unaccomplished today... probably because I took two naps! But, I actually did get a lot done.
The grumbling car is no more. I took my car into Midas this morning because after yesterday's drive back to school my entire exhaust system was hanging down... all ghetto style. I was afraid it was going to fall off on my way over there. Regardless, there is now all new stuff under my car for only $75 because I apparently have a lifetime warranty on my muffler... so that was free (a retail value of $99). When I got in my car after all was done I had to double check that my car was actually running. I'm not used to it being so quiet. The Midas guy was really nice too. It's such a personal experience to get a new muffler.
I then did some laundry. It wasn't totally necessary but over the past few days I've been sweating like a beast so I figured I owed it to my clothes to get them clean in a quick fashion.
Next I was off to Prophetstown for a story on the butterfly count. Only problem... no one showed up except for me, a wife of one of the entomology guys, and some random woman who called herself a "butterfly enthusiast" (except she was 30 minutes late). Go figure. So despite the fact that there was no story there, I decided to stick around and look for butterflies with these people and took a few photos. I'm just gonna run a feature photo for Monday's paper... have to make the trip worthwhile. On a side note, the prairie land out there is just gorgeous!
I got back... it was raining... I had some dinner (soup) and took a nap until 7. Only then did I shower. I feel much better now. I'm gonna add some more decoration my room... I have some things I've been holding onto for awhile that I want to put up. Hopefully I'll get to start working on a little thing I want to make for Adam. I'm getting crafty... better watch out!! hehe
