Horrified, mortified, ...yet somehow glorified...
I just returned from my interview with the 'big kahuna' at countrywide who looks at all of his potential employees with a predatory glare. As the room temperature increased my sanity and body mass decreased. I was shrinking in my chair.
I felt so incredibly vulnerable as he asked me 'grown up' questions like "why would i be good for this job. etc."...to tell you the truth ive never had an interview like that before. Ive worked at fatburger, hallmark, and countrywide(i was never interviewd by the actual ppl there so it was easy through select). It was an actual Adult interview and i felt ill prepared. But there was nothing to prepare for. Either way, i left his office wishing i didnt get the job so i wouldnt have to face him again(although he is a rather nice man, im just a scaredy cat). I went into my moms department where i was welcomed by a hug and i immediately broke down into tears...i soon found out that three others employees also cried after the interview with the same man. I got a strawberry banana smoothie from the butlers brew guy and still wished that i could just disapear.
Needless to say, i got the job. (and am actually happy about it now. esp for $11 an hour.
