Hey so college. I'm officially settled in. Well, atleast I like to pretend I am. This weekend was fun, Friday was spent wandering the BU ghetto looking for parties with cheap beer and not-so-crowded basements, which was relatively fruitless, so we ended up at the Hyatt, which is a hotel that all the kids who didnt get housing get to live at. Then Saturday some of us went to the aquarium because Chris has a family membership and a love of penguins, that was fun. Then that night we went and did some boozin' in Joan's brownstone...walking down Comm Ave drunk is an interesting experience...especially when you run into your student body president, yell at him, then he gives you pizza. Weird.
So my classes. I have like 8 of them. Sooo much learnin'. I really like them though. All of them. I'm way psyched to be able to draft things, to develop whatever actual artistic talent I have, and to build shit. The most difficult thing is getting to see everything we have to wait two years to do, such as actually design sets for shows, weld things (I really wanna weld) or modelbuilding. But its good. And I'm not completely sure when I actually start show assignments, but some people start as soon as this week, so it cant be too too far away. I will keep ya'll posted, as I'm sure you're interested.
This Friday is the party the senior tech students throw for the freshmen...I'm intrigued, to say the least. All I'm hoping is that I dont puke or make out with anyone. Thats it. I can save those mistakes for after I actually meet these kids. Wish me luck, I might need it.
