So, I totally had my Chinese Oral Exam today, which means I am less stressed and busy! Because, things are finished! And my Econ teacher kind of forgot about this huge thing that is due soon but whatever~ I thought I'd reward myself and go on livejournal to post something here. :D
So, this is what I am working on currently, for the exhibition that all Higher-level art students at my school have:
It is deep. Deep and meaningful like the ocean.
Then there's some of this for my portfolio which was lacking in colour:
My mom was like, "why does Aquaman look so gay?"
I smiled knowingly. ;)
And lastly, for my exhibition at the end of this yearrrr:
Yeah. That's it. :| k, I'm going to go work on my artist statement for NYU. It's really lame.
They're like,
"- your goals as an artist;
- your artistic influences, including two contemporary artists who are nationally or internationally recognized (these artists should have created new work within the past 20 years;
- your view of the value of art in contemporary culture;
- your background and interests, including previous art training, and films, literature, or music you enjoy and how you see them relating to your art work;
- what you hope to gain from studying in the studio art program at NYU (transfer applicants should discuss their reasons for transferring, as well as their current class standing- i.e, freshman, sophomore, etc.)"
whatever
