Indian dinners, etc, etc, etc.
Mutti & I went to the bookstore today. I was peeved as all the books in the teen section were SO EFFING PREDICTABLE. I would look at the cover of one and *know* how it would end. Trag.
So then I went & looked at the GROWN UP LITERATURE section. *feels shiny* And we got Kim and other shiny books like that. And The Good Earth
Then we went to this little Indian café and I felt v. v. v. the wrong color. EVERYONE except me & Mum was Indian. Chilling with the locals, we were.
There was this boy there. Who was... snog-rific? *is bad at adjectives for crush!boys ... though he's not really a crush, as I only saw him for like half an hour* Anyway.... ooer. *falls over*
Mutti ordered stuff without knowing what it was, so that was fun. We got samosas (excellent), eggplant curry with tortilla-things (v. spicy & hard to eat) and this OMGAJKFJ WEIRD THING.
Weird thing was like a crêpe thing, this rice-thing-tortilla thing and filled with potatoes, with this green coconut sauce and this soup that I spilled all over the tray. *is a klutz* That was after the OMG!hotdesiboy left, though, so that was okay. ;P
Then we went to this art opening of one of Mum's friends, it was fun, I saw this girl I hadn't seen since we were... ten... and she was really old looking.
And the radio was broken in the car, so Mutti & I sang songs from Fiddler!, Jesus Christ Superstar, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Nightmare Before Christmas, Bob Marley, etc, etc, etc.
All in all, v. nice night. 'Night, all. ♥
