When you know what people think you can
Charm them (lovers do)
convince them (advertising does)
persuade them (politicians do)
frighten them (terrorists do)
attract them (entertainers do)
educate them
cheat them
annoy them
please them
And bend them to your will.
Successful people are rarely clever
Successful people are rarely beautiful
Successful people are rarely well educated
Successful people are
those who can make decisions
those who take the initiative
those who see the opportunities
those to know the moment to move
Successful people do not try to convince others that they are clever as that will cause them to be disliked.
Successful people will move people around on their mental chess board until the position is right.
Successful people will praise others for putting forward ideas that they have actually put forward themselves.
