Ann Arbor
Friday I drove up to Ann Arbor, MI to see Jeff. The drive up wasn't too bad, there were a few traffic jams, and I was on radio silence, but it was well worth it. It took about 5 hours to get up there. As soon as I got there, Jeff came out the door and greeted me with the most adorable smirk. We went inside and he gave me a birthday present! He made me a Mix CD with a bunch of killer songs and bought me the perpetually sold out Final Fantasy Advent Children. I love them both! I got to meet his friend Mish, shes pretty cool. We went out to the club Necto and I immediately got to drinking. It was pride night so every homo in a 100 mile radius was there, lol. I was getting hit on by old men, so I made sure to keep Jeff close. I met Mike, Jeff's brother. We didn't talk much but he seems nice. I had like 5 or 6 drinks and danced with Jeff. Afterwards we walked to Jimmy John's and then went back to his place.
Saturday we woke up and no suprise we started the day with coffee and cigarettes. We cuddled up on the couch and watched Final Fantasy AC which is an awesome movie by the way. We hit the town and OMG Ann Arbor is awesome! It reminds me of Chicago except with hippies. I've pretty much basically decided that I want to move there. We went to Mish's mom's diner, Afternoon Delight. The food was great! Later that evening we had a couple friends over and had a little party.
Sunday was bittersweet. I had such a great time that I put off leaving as long as I could. Jeff and I played some video games (herrrt!) and shared our goodbyes. I miss him already, but we plan on orginizing another visit soon.
The drive home was easy, the roads were pretty clear. I made it home in 4 hours.
I def. can't wait till I go up there again in June!
