take a grape

So...I've been thinking.  About life, and what it all means.  I haven't come up with any answers, just so you know.  While at this awful, awful play, I realized how mortally frightened I am of amounting to nothing.  Of not going anywhere, not acomplishing anything and living with my parents until I'm 40...and then maybe committing suicide while caught up in a lesbian love scandal.

Maybe I should find a therapist, perhaps they could help me discover who I am.

Buuuut....on the extreme other end of things, I've been fairly happy lately.  Even though musical is fairly monotonous, and there are only two scene changes in the second act, it gives me something to do and people to interact with...Without it I would be spending far too much time alone.  I don't know how it happened, but somewhere along the line I forgot how to be around people.  I used to be a fairly social person...and I suppose gradually that dissipated.  I remember Mr. Dodds said "introverts are people who rely on themselves, and extroverts are people who rely on the people around them."  It was so simple, but it made a light go on inside my head.  I guess it made me appreciate introverts such as myself a little more, and realize that (apparently) extroverts aren't just blessed with a bubbly disposition, they need other people to function.  Then again, I need other people to function as well.

I don't know where I'm going with all this...

On an unrelated note, my task for this week is to become someone's slave, so...Is there anyone out there who desires my expressly non-sexual service?  I'll do anything, really.
