auron was in the apartment... he had taken it upon himself to clean up a bit, he even washed the sheets. amazing. he had been waiting for zexion to return, standing up to greet him once he heard him come in.
Turning his head slightly to look at his partner, Zexion forced himself to smile faintly. "... Hey. ... Were you waiting for me?" he asked, lifting himself up with a groan.
"yeah... not much else to do." he offered a pat on the shoulder, not sure how much affection was allowed. "are you feeling up to going out? an old friend of mine wants us to go to a movie with her."
Zexion tensed slightly at the touch, his body still reacting to Auron defensively, but he forced himself to shake the feeling off. "Um... I..." he scratched his head, "... I guess so. Who is this friend of yours?"
"girl named Lulu, I dated her like... 5 years ago. she's pretty young. she's nice. I'll call her." he stepped off to the side to get his phone, giving zexion a small smile.
When Lu's phone rang, she was only a little bit surprised. She'd spent part of the afternoon on the phone with Yuna, trying to sort out just what was going on, and then had gotten ready hoping that Auron would be interested in going out tonight. Smiling at the ringtone, one of her favorite metal songs, she danced for a moment to Otherworld before actually answering the phone. "Hey there."
Zexion waited patiently as Auron called his friend, wondering who in the world he could possibly know from Twilight Town... As far as he knew, the older detective never lived there. Ah well.
"hi lulu. zexion just got back, are you still up for a movie, maybe a something to eat?" he glanced over at zexion, smiling again. sorta like a date...
"That'd be wonderful! I'll be ready in just a few minutes. Will your partner be joining us?" Lu almost hoped he wouldn't, but would be happy to be out with Auron either way.
"How about.... let's meet at the movie theater, pick something to see, and then go out to eat before it starts." Lu could hardly contain her excitement at the idea of being out with Auron again, even if a friend of his was tagging along with them. She tried to keep her voice at a normal pitch over the phone, but was jumping up and down just a little bit.
Zexion noticed the gesture, but acknowledged it with no more than a slight nod. So, they really were going out 'for fun'.... at least Auron seemed happy.
"... Gonna go change." he mumbled before trudging towards his room.
