Today was a better, my faith in the city was redeemed. We started off by going to a monument park where the old communist goverment monuments where preserved. I've got some good pictures with some scary looking dudes. We also had our small world moment of the trip. Johnny met an old band mate from heritage at the park. He was studying in Germany and just happen to notice that Johnny looked familar. After the park we came back into the city and started touring pest.
The first thing we ran into was a jubilant Indian festival honoring one of the Hindu gods. It was very interesting. After that we saw a beatiful church and some other buildings. We then made it to victory square where they where setting up for a concert. We then wandered the park for a while and saw the zoo. After an unsuccesful attempt and finding an English mass we went to one of the highlights of the trip--to the baths.
The bath expierencing was similar to a water park only with every temperature of water you can imagine. They had several indoor and out door pools that ranged in temperature from 17-40 degrees Celsius. For anyone who hasn't been 17 degree water is quite cold. The bath also had some green minerals which are supposed to be very healthy. We spent about two hours just relazing here.
This ends our final day of sighseeing. Tomorrow we will spend about two hours in Vienna, get on a plane, sleep in Frankfurt airport, and then go home. Unless I find an internet cafe with reasonable prices in Frankfurt this will be my last post in Europe. It's been a good trip, but it is about time to go back to the real world.
