good news
Today was an interesting day. It started off pretty crummy with me being picked on in Military Science, and bombing a quiz in Spanish, but it's all good now. The first piece of good news that came out of left field is that I apparently qualified for Phi Alpha Theta which is a national honor society for History majors. That was kind of cool. The really good news is that I am going to Turkey over spring break! This is an all expense paid staff ride sponsered by the history department. Here's the tagline; "a Department of History Staff Ride to Turkey, touring battlefields ancient (Troy and Granicus), medieval (Constantinople) and modern (Gallipoli)..." All I can say is wow! They chose fourteen people out of thirty seven applicants and I was one of them. I need to go buy a new camera with lots of memory. I'm going to be taking lots of pictures on this trip.
